Common room
Bedrooms The separate gender dormitories contain 6-7 twin-size beds (no bunk beds), individual bedlamps, and a large 2’x2’x3’ locker, for which a padlock can be rented or purchased, or you may use your own. Five domestic-style bathrooms are shared between all rooms. Private rooms for couples have queen-size beds, with an optional twin-size rollaway, and a small nightstand with an alarm clock. Bed sheets, pillow cases, blankets and towels are provided. Most rooms have a southern exposure with a view across the front yard to Port Townsend Bay. The largest room has a queen-sized bed, a bunk bed, and a possible rollaway, and can accommodate a small family. Ask about special family rates.
Kitchen The kitchen is fully-equipped for your use with several size pots and pans, two stove/oven units, two refrigerators, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, and a bread maker. The kitchen is available for use in preparing personal meals, and you are welcome to bring your own food. Local stores, a Food Co-op and a Safeway, are about three miles away. A self-serve, by-donation breakfast is offered each morning - coffee, tea, pancakes, and/or fresh bread.
Meeting Space The common room can serve as a retreat area or an instruction space during the day for small groups of less than 35 people arranged around a large decorative table or in comfortable seating. Its proximity to the kitchen makes serving group meals easy and efficient. An LCD projector is available to connect to a computer for presentations.
Amenities Plenty of extra tables and chairs are available along with table service for 30+. An upright piano is available along with a guitar. The private phone line for guests requires a phone card, sold at the office if needed, to make anything other than a local call. WiFi service is available. During the summer season there are harvestable greens in the organic garden. A firepit is available for guest use, as is a barbeque. A covered bike shed keeps your wheels out of the weather, and outdoor lockers keep your belongings dry and safe if you arrive before the office opens.
