Port Townsend waterfront
Port Townsend has a good transit system and most distances are very walkable. This artsy Victorian-era seaport town is a unique place to visit and Fort Worden State Park is a jewel on the Olympic Peninsula. Surrounded by water, mountains and wildlife there are a myriad of things to do and see to suit everyone's tastes. To visit the Olympic National Park a vehicle is suggested, the distances within the Park are great and roads to trailheads are sometime 12-17 miles from the main road Highway 101.
